New Update: Re-Opening Date For First Term Of 2023/2024 Academic Year

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released an anticipated update on the re-opening date for the first term of the 2023/2024 academic year.

As we all know, the education system in Ghana has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to adjustments in school calendars and learning modalities.

This announcement brings clarity to students, parents, and educators as they prepare for the new academic year.

In a social media post, the management made it clear that, The reopening date for Basic schools for the first term of the 2023|2024 academic year is 3rd October 2023.

This means all Basic schools in the country are expected to reopen on the above-given date and not the one which has been earlier stated on the revised comprehensive Academic Calendar
